The Big Paducah Kids' Consignment Sale Opens Seller Registration July 20, and It Fills Fast

The short version: Seller registration for the Kentucky Kids Consignment Sale's fall event in Paducah opens Monday, July 20, at 9 a.m. It caps at 1,200 sellers, and last spring's sale filled that cap in two days. Twice a year, a small army of parents turns a convention hall into a wall of kids' clothes, shoes, gear, and toys, and everybody else comes to buy it cheap. Registration to sell at the fall Paducah event opens Monday, July 20, and the thing to understand is that it does not stay open long.

Most notices about this sale just say "come shop." The part that matters if you want to make money is the seller side, and it runs on hard deadlines.

Registration caps at 1,200 sellers. That is not a soft number. Last spring's Paducah sale hit the cap in two days, so while the window technically runs from July 20 to August 18, do not count on the back half of it. After you register, your inventory locks on August 20 at noon, no exceptions, meaning nothing can be added after that. And there is a presale ladder: how early you get to shop before the public depends on how many volunteer shifts you work.

So the window is 29 days on paper and often about two days in practice. Register the morning it opens if you are serious.

The sale is free to get into and free to park, at the Paducah Convention and Expo Center, 415 Park Street. Saturday is the day for bargains, when many items go half price.
